CALVERT PRONG

Horton Mill Bridge, built in 1935, spans Calvert Prong of the Locust Fork.

At 70 feet above the stream, it is the highest covered bridge above water in the nation.  This bridge is 220 feet long.

Located just off Alabama Highway 75 - Five miles north of Oneonta, AL.  (Blount County)
